Visitor Center for the childhood home of Janet Frame

Designed with a roof in the form of an inverted open book in 2023 to provide an immersive experience for visitors to the house in Eden Street Oamaru.

Pages from one of the authors works would be on the interior ceiling, and a gold foil film stylised image of young Janet from a 1969 portrait by Don Bachardy would welcome people at the front door glass.
